RICS HOME BUYER REPORT
An RICS Home Buyer Surveye is much more detailed than the basic valuation issued by Building Societies and is for your own benefit rather than the mortgage lender's. The Home Condition Survey (HCS) is an alternative to the Home Buyer Report and provides a clear and concise report on the condition of a domestic property.The HCS is a clear and concise and jargon free report on the condition of a domestic property allowing the homebuyer to make a speedy and informed decision.The HCS gives the buyer a plain English, jargon-free report on the condition of the property using a simple 1,2,3 rating guide, so it is easy to understand any risks or unforeseen expenditure that could crop up.
